Unit seven offers guidance on how to more effectively teach a new language. This unit covers a broad range of areas such as introducing and teaching new vocabulary, introducing and teaching correct grammatical structures and introducing and teaching language functions. And to better implement these ideas in the classroom, the ESA structure is incorporated into the lesson to help guide teachers.Today i learnt about the tense system. There are seven different tenses, these being; future simple, future continuous, future perfect, future perfect continuous, be going infinitive, the present continuous and present simple. For all of the above i learned the form, usages, typical mistakes/errors and teaching ideas. Lastly i did a work sheet to help learn the mentioned tenses more thoroughly.
