The videos were very interesting to watch and compare teacher and student behaviors. There is definitely a difference in student behaviors and class participation in the second video, which is obviously a result of the teacher's more favorable attitude towards his students. The activities in the second video were more engaging, and the class could have kept going to take advantage of students' engaged behaviors.I really enjoy the regular refresh on what components of a lesson would come during a certain phase, and in what order. Seeing multiple example also really helps to distinguish which types of activities would be the most appropriate during a lesson. I enjoyed the section about teaching receptive skills, I think that being able to effectively read and well as listen, and critically do so, are incredibly important.
