Apparently, there are many more teaching aids than text books. After having read this, I can think of many ways to have fun in the classroom while learning new vocabulary or grammar structure. One of the things that I hadn?t thought before reading this unit was that maybe some schools have no high-tech equipment, but that doesn?t mean that lessons need to be boring and old-schooled.This unit covered the various types of equipment and teaching aids commonly used in the ESL classroom. The different features of each type of equipment make them suitable for teaching different language skills, including reading, writing, speaking and listening. After finishing this unit, I have a better idea of the skills that each piece of equipment can help to develop in my students.
