This unit was a great review of different classroom situations that one may encounter and how to effectively handle each one. Great thoughts on how to encourage students to interact with each other and the teacher and how to improve student talk time while decreasing teacher talk time. I now see how important it is to consider the students background and nationality in each situation, also.It was very good to have an idea of what kind of activities can be used in the first lesson, and how to deal with reluctant students, students who insist on using their native language in class, how to deal with bigger-sized classes and also, what to do if I have mixed-level classes. Now I have a good idea of what to expect in my work environment and how to deal with the most common issues.
