This Unit was about part of speeches. Generally speaking, this was a nice review of things I had already taught. What did I like about it? Examples regarding explanation were easily written so that pretty much all of them were understandable. The only thing I personally would have liked, if the Unit had had some more Tips available on how to teach or remember these topics easily, such as mnenomics/acronyms.The demeanor and attitude of the teacher are highly influential to the success of the lesson plan. Students feel more compelled to engage and contribute when the teacher displays a welcoming and positive attitude. Moreover, learning the names of the students helped build rapport. Instead of repeating the words over and over in a condescending tone, the 2nd lesson was more inviting and conducive to learning.
