In this unit, I learned a lot about phonology and phonetics. Intonation and stress and how to physically produce the desired sounds are very difficult to explain. It is important for me, however, to not only be able to produce native English, but also to understand why linguistically and physically I talk the way I do and be prepared to explain it to students.I really feel that this lesson helps prepare new English teachers to begin their first lesson. There are useful information that is taught for us to put into practice. I feel that I know what to avoid and what to do in the first class and even after that. I really liked how the lesson showed what we shouldn't do on the first lesson and what we should be doing.
