This unit has provided some great tips on how to manage a class room. When managing a class room, different means can be used, such as eye contact and gestures. In order to facilitate learning, it is advised to arrange students in groups or arrange the entire classroom differently. The teacher should always be aware of his or her role and keep in mind that the main aspect is to keep teaching fun and to encourage students to learn.This unit explained pronunciation and phonology. This unit showed how to use the phonetic script and gave ideas on how to incorporate it into the classroom. While pronunciation is important, I learned that it is crucial to teach the students not only how to properly say the word, but also how native would pronounce the word. Through sound joining, students can learn how to speak like a native rather than simply learning the words.
