The future tense has some complexity although using the future simple and the going to tense is very easy. When the student can identify the usage of each tense, constructing sentences and expressing ideas becomes an enjoyable task. In this lesson it was helpful to see the common mistakes the students could make so we can use the study stage to include exercises in order to help them better.This was an interesting chapter and a subject I have not given much thought to, and to which I have not had much previous exposure. However, the material itself is intuitive to a native English speaker. The information is clearly presented and the charts will be very handy as reference tools when teaching a class. The exercises and the quiz were especially helpful in illustrating the points.
