I enjoyed this unit as it went over some of the basic sentences used in speech. Being able to differentiate the different forms of the present is something that fluent speakers notice in English language learners pretty quickly and can become super important in certain situations. Being able to use the different forms can really advance an individual and open up much deeper conversations.In this unit, I learned about how to decide what type of words and grammar structures are most appropriate for teaching. On face, it seems as though it would make sense to cover all relevant patterns and words related whatever topic (for instance, going shopping or going to the doctor) is being covered in that particular lesson, however, this unit pointed out that that might be overwhelming.
