During this unit I got to watch two very different ways of teaching an English Second Language class. In the first lesson, the teacher was very boring and didn't explain the topic he wanted the student's to learn. It made the class feel nervous to ask questions and they didn't understand what the teacher was trying to teach. In the second lesson, the teacher was more engaging and broke down each part of the lesson. He kept it interactive and positive which made the class feel more engaged and excited to learn. It is important to remember to stay positive in the classroom and keep a variety of activities ready so that if the student's don't respond to one way, the teacher can change it to better fit the class' learning ability.
