This unit discussed lesson planning and why it is important. It went over the basic principles of lesson planning such as to keep it simple, don't create a script, and be flexible. It discussed how to be organized and all the things that should be included in the lesson plan. Finally, it had a few examples of sample lesson plans and forms to fill out to create a lesson plan.I think it is very important to understand the different tools available for teaching English available in the classrooms. To get familiar with the tools and use them effectively would not only reduce unnecessary wasted time in teaching but also make the lessons more enjoyable and potentially fun. Being able to use the equipment effectively is an desired tool as a teacher.
