In general, the unit 2 covered the basics of English grammar. The different components of a sentence such as the article, the noun, the adjective, the verb, the adverb, the preposition and so on were all discussed and reviewed. In this unit, we learned the difference between a definite article and an indefinite article, the difference between a comparative adjective and a superlative adjective, the difference between a preposition and a conjunction, and such. Additionally, the basic verb tenses, the nature of gerunds, the different types of pronouns were also clearly explained. Not only did this chapter discuss the usage of the different components of a sentence, but it recapped the exceptions related to each category as well.
