This unit explores receptive skills such as reading and listening and shows their importance. First it tells about reasons and motives of those two skills and divides them into two fairly-wide ranging categories: for a purpose and entertainment, then covers problems with listening and readind and then finally introduces various techniques and activities associated with them.There are four present tenses that all have different forms, usages, common errors and activities. While in conversation we often switch between the four forms without contemplation, they each are quite unique. Throughout this unit I have seen the emphasis on the subtleties between the tenses and the importance on explaining the rules behind each tense to help reduce errors.
