This unit is another grammar unit which explains modal verbs, phrasal verbs and passive voice in detail. Some parts are clear, for example passive voice, but some other parts are still confusing, for example different types of phrasal verbs. I had a difficulty in defining which type they belong to. In general it is a useful unit as it shows the importance of knowing grammar better in order to teach the language to foreigners.This unit was helpful because as teachers we will be responsible for teaching many different groups of people including small children, people who are taking the ESL classes as supplements to their full schedules and people with different lingual backgrounds. Sometimes while taking courses such as this, we are offered the opportunity to take an extra course to learn how to best teach English to those in the business setting.
