This unit helped me understand the basic make-up of a lesson plan. I enjoyed feeling like I'm preparing to teach a class. The different suggestions for games helped me conceptualize a real lesson I may give. Knowing the variability of an ESA lesson gives me the control to shape a lesson around what will help me be the most engaged and useful teacher for my students.This unit explains the four different past tenses. Simple past, past continuous, and past perfect are commonly taught in English grammar while past perfect continuous is the least; however it has still its function in communication both oral and written. Finally, I have learnt that past perfect is very useful when we want to arrange time in the past chronologically.
