This lesson about teaching receptive skills was interesting for me, I appreciate many explanantions. The outline of a typical receptive skills lesson (Patchwork)was very practical. I would like to create interest, get my students motivated and engaged in the tasks, so they will read and listen with real enthusiasm. I would like to have good engage phases of my lessons. This lesson was very important.Progress tests will be helpful to identify if the lessons have been soaking in for the students throughout the course. A diagnostic test will be a great tool to use on students during the first week of the course to get a picture of their understanding. Evaluations by students during the middle and end of the course will be valuable to get an idea of how I was successful or unsuccessful as a teacher.
