This unit describes the importance of a lesson plan for a smooth and effective lesson. It gives many reasons why planning a lesson is important for the teacher, the learner and any potential subsequent substitute teacher. Lessons should be planned in a structured but flexible way, monitored and recorded to ensure that learners understand the thought material and teachers improve their teaching skills.Authentic materials are excellent to use in the class but, in my opinion they can't be used without the creative materials. Creative materials, in my esperience, can't be forgotten; I think they can engage well the students non only using the conventional texts.
They are often used to enjoy also the students while learning, that's why I think the both methods have to be always considered, never apart.
