This unit provided a good ending to the TEFL certification course. After learning rules and strategies on how to teach english as a foreign language, it was helpful to have this brief troubleshooting chapter to address potential difficult situations with students and/or beginning classes. At the end of this certification, I feel confident that I will be able to effectively teach English as a foreign language.This unit covered typical problems that teachers may face and possible solutions to those problems. The part I found most useful in this unit was talking about students using their native language and how to encourage them to use English. I found this useful because as someone who took a foreign language class for several years I felt like I still used English the majority of the time that I was in the class.
