This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit, which covered basic requirements to remember and subsequent techniques to use when teaching a new language, has provided a structured approach to lessons. It emphasised the importance, when teaching, for students to be exposed to the language, having an understanding of the meaning of the language, its construction along with the ability of the student to practice the language learnt. This unit summarized the basics of past tenses, including past simple, past continuous, past perfect, and past perfect continuous. I learned more about common mistakes related to forming past tenses, specifically omission of one of the auxiliary verbs in past perfect, continuous, and perfect continuous. I enjoyed this unit do to it's breakdown of these concepts and will refer back to it often.
