In this unit we revisit the subject of English grammar and take an in-depth and detailed look at the different forms of conditional sentences and how to teach them most adequately and effectively in the classroom. This unit also covers the difference between direct speech and reported speech, hence showing how to turn direct speech into indirect speech and giving teaching ideas to help give students the best understanding of the knowledge. The overview of this unit is to firstly understand that there are five main conditional; zero conditional. first conditional, second conditional, third conditional and the mixed conditional. We use reported speech basically as it states, to report is too have a general conversation of which could relate to other people or issues, reporting various statements, I am probably not describing this quite correctly but my understanding is clear.
