Aids all too often become the end rather than the means. As Marshall Mcluhan said, \"The medium is the message\" and if we are not careful the actual content of the lesson can get overwhelmed by the \"geewhiz\" factor of the technology!saidThis unit has taught me about the importance of lesson planning. Lesson planning has several functions including providing a record of what was done in class, it acts as a working document for the teacher to follow and to use as a reference point when teaching and it aids in planning by writing down what the teacher expects the students to achieve by the end of the class. Several points were also provided for the smooth running of lessons.
