Whilst learning the content of this unit I learned about the complexity of the job of a teacher. A teacher does not only need to have good knowledge of the subject but also know how to be in control of the classroom at all times in one way or another. A good teacher can motivate their students and help them progress in their studies as well as guide them on the path of learning more on their own. Students also have their own responsibilities in the classroom, to be open minded, inquisitive and motivated. A teacher must keep in mind the group that he or she is teaching while making a lesson plan, for example age and previous knowledge of the subject.
A good teacher cares about motivating their students ans helping them progress.
