The unit introduces the different ways in which teachers can evaluate and test students? language level and progress at three different stages-before, during and at the end of an English course. The three main ways to do so are by giving tutorials, evaluation by the student and the typical in-class test. General tests include examinations given by TOEFL, TOEIC and IELTS.This unit is all about the four present tenses in English. It introduces to the various kinds, lists example sentences, gives examples for activities which can be used to teach them. I learnt the forms, usage, typical student errors and mistakes and teaching ideas. Besides I got to know some rules how to build senteces with the present tenses and some irregular verb forms.
