I found the theories, methods and techniques in this unit to be very interesting. I found most of the content to be very logical. A teacher must remain positive when providing feedback in order to keep the students motivated. The engage step of the ESA method seems like it may be the most fun. The engage step seems that it may also at times be the most challenging.The English language is based around four skills: receptive skills (reading and listening) and productive skills (writing and speaking). These four skills are all important to learning the English language and a teacher will need to include all of them to have a successful class. Without all of these skills a student wouldn't be able to succeed in the English language.
