This unit was about the materials, and basically which ones are good to use, why and the advantages and disadvantages of the use of authentic and created materials.
It would have been interesting to discuss the future kinds of materials that could be used to enhance the skills of the learners, such as tablets, apps, E-dictionaries, or who knows, translator glasses or interpreting earphones. This lesson was a relatively easy and straight forward lesson, as most of the contents had already been covered in unit 3. It was a great refresher unit to remember the 3 different ESA structures and what they included. I did get a little confused regarding the Patchwork ESA vs the Boomerang ESA - however, I rewatched lesson 3, and now I feel confident that I fully understand these concepts.
