This unit describes the use of materials used in the classroom. There are different types of books and materials to be used and each has its own advantages and disadvantages. I feel there needs to be a great balance when using authentic, created and course books in the classroom. Course book though seem to be the best guidelines when teaching a class but can not have all lessons based on it.As a teachers we need resources to make class more interesting. Different school have different resources available and the most common are:
Board (white/black), interactive whiteboard(WB), overhead projector (OHP), worksheet and work cards, cassette recorder, CD player, DVDs, video camera, visual aids, dictionaries, course books, resource books, photocopier, computers and onlines resources.
