In this unit i have learned that teacher should not only be limited with a course book. Teacher should find additional lesson related informations from other sources. Such as authientic materials , created materials and internet based materials.These materials allow the student to learn more about the lesson. teacher hsould be careful when choosing topic fit materials.This unit covers the advantages and disadvantages of using coursebooks. It also describes using supplement material when the coursebook isn't relative to what the students are learning. I enjoyed the examples that this unit provided in what activities are often used to supplement the coursebook, and that too much use of a coursebook can be stale and boring for students.
