This unit taught me the proper names and forms of each different past tense. I feel it is easier to understand the tenses broken down into their basic forms and named accordingly, as the unit did. The common mistakes and ideas to teach these tenses were particularly useful in my opinion. They will make it easier to identify where a student is having trouble and therefore which activities I should focus on.I feel that this unit is useful in ways that it gives effective recommendations on how to get your students' attention and to maintain their focus on the lesson. It also helps in giving pointers in making pair work and group work more beneficial to the students. It also emphasizes the importance of staying connected with your students all throughout the lesson and not spend too much time writing on the board.
