Unit 19 provided a comprehensive guide to the different types of learners I will encounter as a teacher and valuable tips on how to help students succeed. What I enjoyed most about this section is that it gave me insight into what to do, what not to do, and the potential difficulties that may arise in the classroom. It also made me excited, because I am nearing the end of my training and teaching abroad is in my sights!a good reminder of important considerations when interacting with your students. Learning problems are complex and reviewing the methods one can use in the class helps to re- examine ones own preferences. It is so easy to fall into a rut when it comes to discipline and dealing with consequences. Young learners often prefer the security of being seated with their friends but using small groups may build their confidence.
