Another challenging unit! Similar to the past tenses, I think it would be helpful to see them all on one chart at some point in the lesson in addition to being spread out along all the pages. It helps to see the key words used for each different tense. I think this is knowledge we learn at a young age and now we just naturally know how to speak properly but don't know the exact explanation or names of each tense we are speaking in.In this unit i learned about issues regarding teaching vocabulary. I was taught the criteria to be used to select words to teach and what students need to know about a vocabulary item. I was also taught the techniques for teaching vocabulary and presenting and practicing language structures. Typical examples were given from a typical \"straight arrow\" structured ESA vocabulary lesson, ESA patchwork lesson and ESA boomerang lesson.
