This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit's main theme was an introduction to grammar and the different parts of speech we use in our day to day conversations. I learned what an indefinite article, definite article, and zero article are, and how they are important in grammar when trying to create a structurally sound sentence. For example singular or specific nouns are definite and indefinite articles are non-specific. I also learned the difference between a transitive and intransitive verb. A transitive verb is a verb that is followed directly by an object, while an intransitive verb can't be followed by an object. Lastly I learned what a gerund otherwise known as the -ing form of a verb used as a noun. Some examples of gerund are washing, cleaning, and jumping.
