This topic shares information about the various ways to assess students and the time at which assessments most effectively need to take place. It also covers the external exams available along with Cambridge assessments and their purpose for various students. I will find the different ways to assess students very useful as this has been an area that I am not as confident or familiar with.This unit consisted of two videos, each showing and actual classroom scenario. In both videos, a teacher gave a lesson on animals and auxiliary verbs. The videos showed the effect that a teacher?s attitude and planning can have on the students and on the effectiveness of the lesson. It was interesting to see how the concepts that previous units have covered play out in an actual classroom.
