This unit described both authentic and non-authentic materials and the pros and cons of using each in a business setting. It also described some of the questions that must be considered when designing a lesson plan, as well as problems students may encounter. The lesson also showed an example of a lesson plan for a business class setting, as well as online resources that may be used by the teacher.In this final unit, I learned about troubleshooting (e.g. reluctant learners or learners with listening difficulties). I learned strategies to accommodate reluctant learners such as role-play and pair-work. I also learned some activities to build rapport in the classroom such as \"pass-the-ball\". I also learned how to improve participation in large classes through choral repetition and group work.
