In this unit and previous units, I leraned how to effectively teach students of all learning levels, ages, and class sizes. This 120-hour course has helped improve my teaching skills and has given me the confidence to be a successful teacher. In this unit on troubleshooting I learned how to deal with difficult students that may be struggling or confused. This was very helpful!I learned the different methodologies of teaching (Grammar-translation, audio-lingualism, Presentation, Practice and Production, Task Based Learning, Communicative Language Teaching, Communicative Language Learning, The silent way, Suggestopaedia and the Lexical approach) , the three stages of ESA: Engage, Study and Activate as well as the types of ESA (Boomerang and Patchwork).
