Lesson planning is of the utmost importance, even if it is a short plan it must be done. without the proper planning the teacher will loose confidence if the lesson goes array. Also the students will become insecure in what they are doing. Always set goals for the learners and for yourself. Make a note of whether the goals were reached or not. If not plan for this in the next lesson.the unit showed us the different learning methods that can be used when learning English, the different methods specialise in different learning aspects such as listening, hearing, visual and feel.
the unit also showed us how to channel these different aspects into the lesson, e.g through music, games, discussion.
the right time and place to give advice and hints was also mentioned.
