As a teacher, it is nice to see that a lot of things in this unit are things I already do in my classroom. Some issues that arose during my time teaching in my current school are also mentioned in the material and I can see what I have been doing right as well as things that I can improve upon. This unit also gave me some ideas on classroom management in the future.In this unit we discuss different ways to teach pronunciation to students who are learning English as a second language. A big part of this lesson is learning how to teach and understand the phonetic alphabet. This does not tend be the best way for students to learn English as it is like learning two alphabets. Even when I was in school, we were not taught this way.
