In this unit I learned about modal auxiliary verbs and what the different verbs mean. I learned about their different uses as well. I also learned about the passive voice and the different forms of the passive voice. I also learned about relative clauses and the two types, defining and non-defining. The last topic I studied were phrasal verbs and their different forms.This unit focused on different kinds of lesson materials and how to integrate lesson materials to be used in conjunction with course books and reading materials. The unit focuses on advantages and disadvantages of authentic and created materials; as well as how to best utilise textbooks/course books. It also gave really useful resources and examples of class materials.
