Lesson planning performs three important functions: it helps to plan what you expect the students will accomplish, it gives you something to refer back to during class, and it acts as a record of what you have accomplished in class with the students. The lesson plan should be simple and not scripted, it should be flexible and open to changes, and the activities should flow together with time management in mind.This unit provided some exposure to conditional sentences and reported or indirect speech.
The former outlined the five types of conditional sentences used and highlighted the \"condition\" and the \"consequence\" of each sentence along with the use of present or past tenses.
The latter focussed on turning direct questions into a reported speech format and which verb tenses are then to be utilised in each part.
