This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
For this unit, I spent most of my time thinking about different ways to incorporate lesson planning into my daily schedule, and how this would be just a specialized version of a bullet planner. I also was thinking about how to make the objectives more visible for students. I never really gave them a second thought when I was in school, and I think it would be easier for students to learn if they had a list to check off. This unit discusses modal auxiliary verbs and the passive voice. Modals are used to express obligation, possibility, permission, advice, and ability. They can also express degrees of formality and almost never change in form. There are two passive voices - active and passive. In the active voice, the focus is on the agent whereas in the passive voice, the object of an active verb becomes the subject of the passive verb.
