This unit is a general introduction and/or review of English grammar through its main parts of speech. These parts of speech -- nouns, verbs, adjectives, prepositions, etc. -- are broken down further into their roles in communicating meaning, correct usages, and various types. For example, the 'verb' part of speech is further parsed into 'transitive verbs' and 'intransitive verbs', 'auxiliary verbs', charts of verb tense, and more.This unit included information on how to teach vocabulary, new language, and grammar structures to students. Although short, I liked this unit because it reminded you of the different ways to play out a class lesson with the different form of ESA. I particularly liked the example lessons at the end of each section because it gave insight on how a teacher would think about the lesson in detail to play it out as smoothly as possible.
