In Unit 6 I learned that past tenses are as equally important as present tenses. Irregular verbs are words that have to be changed as opposed as just adding the \"ed\" at the end and sadly there are no specific rules in the English language, it just has to be memorized. Present and Past tenses is very confusing to languages across Asia and i myself have personally struggled with this in Spanish.The tense system in English grammar is one of the most difficult lesson for an English learner. There are many teaching methods that needs to be used in order for an English learner to understand how to use tenses in English. English learners cannot just memorize the usage rules for each tenses but they still need a lot of practice in order to understand how and when to use each and every tense.
