In this unit, I watched two videos on a lesson about modal auxiliary verbs. The first lesson was executed poorly and the participation was very low. The second lesson was the opposite of the first; there was high level of participation and the teacher was able to fully engage the whole class on the lesson. These video lessons are examples or what not to do and what to do during a lesson.I have learnt that it is valuable for students to learn english through a wide range of teaching aids. A variety of teaching aids will help the students to stay interested in learning and give everyone in the class a better potential of success through their desired medium. New technologies can be advantages but are often more difficult to master and can take away from the teaching time.
