Verb tenses in English are more complicated than I realized even with extensive use of the language. The present tense has many more forms and rules than I knew of, and the exceptions make it even more difficult. The examples given in this lesson will be a great help when teaching tense, especially since some of them are hard to distinguish between, such as some of the continuous and present perfect continuous examples.I would like to get a copy of examples of each of the types of testing so I can study these. I found the unit very interesting however I'm still unsure of how often you give 'progress' tests. Would they be given 3/4 times during a semester if they are given after each unit of work? If teaching business English, would we be required to be competent in the Cambridge English assessments and should I look at studying these?
