This unit was the most challenging unit for me so far. I have learnt a lot from it, but it was also a refreshing unit from High School information especially with the phonemic symbols. It greatly covered phonology with deep explanation on intonation, stress and the phonemic alphabet, teaching and more. Under articulation I learnt new items such as the speech, the place and the manners which will be very helpful teaching.This unit was a wonderful refresher on the future tense. For beginning English learners this is one concept that I hear misused a lot. I think that it is important to reinforce and help a student understand the circumstances in which each tense is used. I think that one of the best ways to reinforce that would be seeing as many sentences with variation as possible to help them understand the idiosyncrasies of each tense.
