Very interesting unit that gives a clear and detailed description of theories methods and techniques. More often than not teachers have the tendency to overlook the correct lesson structure and find it hard to decide which method is the most appropriate for a given class. This chapter solves the above mentioned problem by making it a breeze to decide which method or technique to use.In this unit I learnt what is need by the students to learn a new language; exposure, understanding, practice and produce. I found the receptive and productive vocabulary differences interesting, being that receptive is much larger than actual productive vocabulary. This can stand true to most people and I see this as a personal challenge to use make more of my vocabulary productive.
