This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This is a unit that is full of very valuable information and resources for a teacher of English as a second language. I will keep this unit very handy for me to access the information provided, especially the websites given. I think keeping the lesson plans as varied as possible is the way to keep students engaged and not bored and falling asleep or drifting off mentally during the lessons.this unit covers productive skills (speaking and writing) following receptive skills previously covered. both speaking and writing are used for a same purpose that is to communicate. most language students tend to focus more on speaking skills while writing skills are more homework related.there are 2 activities in speaking: accuracy (belongs in study phase) and fluency (in activated phase).
