In managing classes, I learned that the teacher shouldn't dominate at all times. There are situations whereas students should have more time to speak, be themselves and collaborate with their classmates. Teacher should consider lots of things when trying to manage the class efficiently. And it should always take in consideration students' age group, abilities, nationalities and the like.This unit was useful to me because it has made it clearer for me of how to measure the students progress. I wondered how you would test learners that are at such different stages during a course or class, but now I understand that not all assessments/tests would be needed to analyse the learners progress. They are needed to measure progress, but are not all suitable to a specific course.
