In this unit we looked at various topics such as ways that the teacher react to creative activities and other task in which appropriate behavior should be. Such as using a culturally sensitive topic in a group activity would not be appropriate. Also things like using fun game activities is useful but not as a filler in which the teacher is using the detraction trying to prepare a lesson.I learned about various methods to help students learn a second language using different methods of engage, study, and activate and games for study and activate. I also learned about the importance of correction and feedback and that correction does not have to be immediate. Correction needs to be minimized in the engage and activate stage so that students can get on with communications.
