This unit had a lot of great information for developing a course. It?s quite intimidating to think about what kinds of materials and tools I?ll need to teach a class. Everything is on the teacher in most situations. I?m used to having a curriculum provided and I just teach what I?m told to. It doesn?t allow for much creativity, but there?s a security there.Unit 14 was an overview of the role that course books and lesson materials play in the classroom. It included a discussion on the different ways in which both textbooks and created material can be useful in the classroom, and examples of the many types of created materials that can make. It was exciting to see the many kinds of activities that you can use in the classroom.
