Unit 19 covered the topic of teaching special groups. It highlighted the major differences between they types of students one could encounter, the do's and dont's for each group and practical guidance when teaching business English learners. It has helped me to see which situation I would enjoy - and for now I think it wood possibly be the business English category.I myself am a native english speaker taught with the british standard and i have never given half of this a thought. the teaching of proper mouth movements, when to use your vocal cords and when not, the blocking of air to create the explosion of certain letters has not occurred to me until now. i remember being taught this in primary school. it is so very important
